Margaret Meehan of FMC Aquatic in Illinois has committed to the U.S. Air Force Academy for fall 2021. Meehan is a senior at Lyons Township Large University in the western Chicago suburbs.

Meehan is a adaptable swimmer, with strengths in the breaststroke, butterfly and IM. She has long gone life span bests in the 200 breast, 100 fly, 200 fly and 400 IM in 2021, all coming at the 2021 Illinois Senior Championships in March.

Meehan skilled and swam at the IHSA Point out Championships as a freshman, sophomore and junior the satisfy did not take place this previous period thanks to the pandemic. Her optimum end was 14th in the 200 IM in 2018 as a sophomore.

The Air Power women finished seventh at a aggressive Mountain West Championships in February. Meehan joins Addie Orris, Tyryn Empresmsilapa, Sophie Boulware, June Phang, Ella Gross and Alex Clark in Air Drive Academy’s class of 2025.
