New inquiries surround Whitmer’s trip to Florida to go to her sick father

DETROIT – Extra questions and controversy surrounds Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s excursion to Florida to stop by her sick father in March.

Deadline Detroit noted Whitmer took a personal plane to Florida to visit her father.

The Governor’s Business has been scant with the facts regarding her excursion to Florida, which came weeks just before she instructed Michiganders not to travel to Florida. The business cited worries in excess of the Governor’s safety after a number of people have been indicted and billed in a domestic terrorism plot to kidnap or kill Whitmer.

The Governor’s Office reiterated Thursday that Whitmer “has complied with the public overall health protocols through the pandemic and has been open up about browsing her aged father, which was not at the expenditure of taxpayers and was at a time when Michigan experienced some of the most affordable COVID quantities in the country.”

Regional 4 did a research of flight documents from early to mid-March from Lansing to Palm Seashore and identified the flight information of a Gulfstream 280 twin-motor jet.

The private jet remaining the Coleman A. Youthful International Airport at 6:20 a.m., March 12 and landed in Lansing right before traveling to Palm Beach. On March 15, the jet did the reverse journey — Palm Beach front, Cash Area Worldwide Airport in Lansing and back to Detroit.

If Whitmer rode in this jet — which is owned by a Metro Detroit businessman — the trip would have been more time than she permit on.
