MH senior accepted into Air Power Academy

Madelyn Smith, a Mountain Residence Substantial Faculty senior, has been approved into the United States Air Pressure Academy.

Smith was launched to the world of flight all through her sophomore calendar year by family members pal and flight instructor Garret Stice. Smith’s target is to graduate from the academy with an economics degree and ultimately fly for the Air Power.

“My foreseeable future plans contain going into the flight application after I graduate,” she says. “I want to be a tanker pilot because I can fly some of the major planes whilst not always getting into the line of fire.”

Smith suggests the superior placement track classes at Mountain Dwelling Higher School, as very well as functioning with the district’s counseling staff, helped prepare her for the academy.

“My tutorial counselors have been really helpful … acquiring plenty of insight and knowledge for any concerns I have,” she says. “Throughout my college or university preparing journey, their knowledge manufactured the course of action uncomplicated and efficient.”
