American Duchess to check out Huntington Thursday | News
HUNTINGTON — The passenger boat American Duchess will cease at Harris Riverfront Park Thursday morning as travellers use the day to go to Huntington.
The boat is creating its 1st halt in Huntington this calendar year. It handed Huntington last week on its way to Pittsburgh. It will arrive at Huntington around 11 a.m. Thursday, June 17, depending on travel time. Travellers will disembark for a guided tour about the town and then visit Heritage Farm, according to the Huntington Location Convention & Website visitors Bureau. Three motorcoaches journey with the Duchess and will transport the friends. The boat will remain docked till its departure about 10 p.m. Group members are welcome to go down to the river to greet passengers and later wave them off. No excursions of the boat are allowed.
The boat will be serviced all through the cease.
