Travellers envisioned to flock to Myrtle Seaside for 4th of July weekend lodges at 80% potential

MYRTLE Beach front, S.C. (WBTW) — Tourists are predicted to flock to the Grand Strand this vacation weekend.

Far more than 160,000 rooms are available in the region. In accordance to the Myrtle Seaside Region Chamber of Commerce, above 80% of the rooms have now been booked for the weekend.

Karen Riordan, President and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Spot Chamber of Commerce, mentioned the occupancy price must retain climbing this week.

“As we go into the Fourth of July weekend we do be expecting that we are heading to see occupancy at its maximum fee to date,” Riordan claimed.

In 2019, the occupancy charge in the location was 58% on the Fourth of July. The holiday break fell on a Thursday that calendar year.

Lahcen Benhoummad, supervisor at the Bargain Beachwear on North Ocean Boulevard, claimed the keep is prepared for the influx of vacationers.
