American Airways provides each day flight at Sarasota-Bradenton airport

American Airways is bringing again its daily flights among the Chicago area and Sarasota-Bradenton Global Airport, the fourth airline at SRQ scheduled to fly in between Chicago and the Sarasota region.

The neighborhood airport reported in a Tuesday press release that American has boosted its seasonal service to Chicago O’Hare Intercontinental Airport to fly above the summer months since of improved demand from customers.

The services was suspended past year due to the fact of lower curiosity from passengers resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, Nichelle Barrett, a spokesperson for American Airways, said in an email. Flights are currently scheduled to run through Nov. 6, Barrett stated, and on Saturdays from June 3 to Sept. 7, the flights will run twice per day.

“As clients are returning to travel, we see a lot of leisure desire, especially to locations in Florida, like Sarasota,” Barrett said.
