A canine proprietor took his dying pet on one last stroll up his favorite mountain – in a wheelbarrow.
Carlos Fresco pushed Labradoodle Monty up Pen y Lover in the Brecon Beacons in the barrow so he could enjoy a single previous adventure ahead of he died.
The pair had visited the space quite a few situations more than the many years but soon after an 18-month battle with leukaemia, Fresco knew his 10-yr-previous pet failed to have extended left.

Fresco said he and Monty had explored hills and walks all more than the region, even summiting the three peaks.

Fresco stated: “I understood Monty was dying as his most cancers had returned. He was diagnosed 18 months back and responded really effectively to chemotherapy.
“But regrettably his leukaemia returned eight months back and he declined very quickly.”
He explained Monty always loved hill walks so he had improvised to make positive he could get him to the best, even with his weakness.
