HELENA, Mont. — A Maritime Corps veteran is earning his way from the Canadian border to the Mexican border as he hopes to increase revenue and awareness for Semper Fi & America’s fund, which aids veterans as soon as they return home.  

Tuesday will mark Day 12 of their 62-working day journey across the United States, as Dean and Lorri Zenoni bike along the Excellent Divide Mountain Bicycle Route. 

Zenoni says the idea for the experience arrived about previous fall, and the few wishes to clearly show other veterans and their spouses the importance of being energetic as soon as they return from energetic responsibility.

Although it may well not always imply biking above 2,000 miles like the Zenonis are undertaking, they want other vets battling with put up-combat accidents like Dean to get shifting both pretty much and figuratively, on the route to a far better potential.

Dean suffered a cervical spine damage, and has been steadily battling back from it whilst having up biking in the rehab procedure. Dean and Lorri plan to vacation down towards Butte nowadays, right before traveling by Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado and New Mexico as they finish the journey alongside the divide.
