Psaki: Biden, Harris don’t have to prohibit nonessential journey simply because they use personal planes
White Property push secretary Jen Psaki on Monday stated President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are not essential to restrict nonessential travel as advised by the Facilities for Sickness Handle and Prevention because they vacation on private planes.
For the duration of the push briefing on Monday, Psaki was requested about the president’s travel amid the coronavirus pandemic and CDC guidelines that recommend towards nonessential vacation.

Psaki reported traveling on a private aircraft is “of study course, unique than touring on a commercial flight and going to mass gatherings.”
“As you know, we don’t – the president is not hosting rallies, nor is the the vice president,” Psaki reported. “We get the part of currently being versions very very seriously.”
She extra: “But, I believe most Americans would identify the distinction.”
Psaki’s comments appear as the CDC continues to urge Americans from nonessential journey, warning that it will increase the chance of spreading COVID-19, even for those people who have been vaccinated.
The U.S. in the latest days surpassed 30 million situations of COVID-19, with the seven-working day common of new instances around 60,000.
