Stanley “Stash” J. Kowalski, 84, of Plains Twp., passed peacefully Wednesday, May perhaps 5, 2021, though in the treatment of Temple University Medical center-Jeanes Campus, Philadelphia.

Born Jan. 12, 1937, on Bald Mountain, Bear Creek Twp., he was the son of the late Stanley and Bertha Smacher Kowalski.

Stash attended Bear Creek universities and James M. Coughlin Large University. In 1960, he enlisted in the United States National Guard. This started off a 38 calendar year journey serving with the 109th Discipline Artillery. Stanley was honorably discharged in 1998 at the rank of sergeant key, accomplishing awards for his military service and humanitarian assistance.

Stanley was difficult performing all his lifetime. He held down two complete-time careers. He worked as a truck driver for InterMetro for 20 several years and as monitor maintenance for Pocono Downs for 49 several years.

Funeral solutions for Stanley will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday from Yanaitis Funeral House Inc., 55 Stark St., Plains Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains Twp. Mass will be livestreamed on the church’s Facebook and funeral home’s Facebook.

Interment with navy honors will comply with in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming.

Spouse and children and pals could call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday night at the funeral house.
