Starting in 2022, Kenyans will have to have vaccine passport to travel out the state
Kenyans traveling out of the nation from 2022 will be needed to have a vaccine passport, this is in accordance to the country’s Cabinet Secretary for Tourism, Najib Balala.
The Authorities is in consultations with the Intercontinental Air Transport Association (IATA), to generate the vaccine passports.
“It’s like the former yellow fever vaccination card, so we will have a vaccination card for COVID-19, and likely a single will have to have to be vaccinated each yr.” Balala reported.
The announcement was built during the launch of the vaccination travel of the hospitality and tourism sector to hoteliers, tour drivers, journey brokers, dining places foodservice and bars employees in KICC, Nairobi.
“COVID-19 vaccination is an important software in curbing the outcomes of the pandemic, which will eventually enable tourism increase again.” the ministry of tourism reported.
