The Record Delta | Miss out on West Virginia United states of america and Miss West Virginia Teenager Usa topped Sunday in Buckhannon

BUCKHANNON — On Sunday evening, the life of two younger gals were permanently changed as they now begin to embark on their “Journey to the Crown” on the national competition stage.

The 3rd and final evening of the Skip West Virginia United states competitors held in Buckhannon narrowed the contestants down to the top 5 competition in the Pass up and Teen divisions. Finishing an energetic-don phase, an evening robe presentation, and an on-phase question—one teen and a single woman ended up crowned as the 2021 title holders who will go on to stand for the Mountain State in the Overlook Usa and Miss Teenager Usa pageants this slide.

Brylee Knotts, a senior from Grafton Higher Faculty, was named Overlook Teenager West Virginia United states of america. She will be attending Fairmont Condition, finding out Forensic Science. Knotts said she is fascinated in crime and investigation, advocacy for teen psychological wellness, and has the ambition of becoming an entrepreneur.

“I entered this pageant since I want to clearly show the world a new, empowered me. In the past 12 months, I experienced a great deal of time to self mirror, recognize my strengths, fully grasp my struggles, and find who I genuinely am. I hope to motivate other younger older people to distribute their wings and convey on their own in no matter what way they choose,” Knotts expressed. She will advance to the Miss out on Teenager United states of america pageant in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 4.

Parkersburg’s Alexis Bland was crowned Miss out on West Virginia United states of america on July 11. She is a graduate from WVU at Parkersburg, the place she researched Organization Administration. Bland is now a True Estate Agent who reportedly loves touring, singing and composing.

Bland expressed, “The Skip West Virginia United states of america title will enable me to teach younger men and women about the worth of monetary literacy and building essential existence abilities. I entered the pageant to encourage optimistic alter and management all over my point out. I hope to attain new obligations and self development from this practical experience.” She will also contend in Tulsa on November 29, as she seeks the title of Pass up Usa.

Lakyn Campbell was 1st Runner Up in the Overlook Teen West Virginia United states of america competition and will switch Knotts in the Skip Teen Usa levels of competition if she is unable to fulfill her responsibilities for any motive. Sarah Lowjeski was 2nd Runner Up, though Leah Hinchee was the 3rd Runner Up and Emily Grace Anderson was the 4th Runner Up.

Should Bland be unable to satisfy her duties as Miss out on West Virginia United states of america, Krystian Leonard will step in as 1st Runner Up. Tamia Hardy was the 2nd Runner Up, when Lacey Russell took 3rd Runner Up, followed by 4th Runner Up Dominique Collins.
