US-Canada border vacation constraints prolonged to March 21, 2021

DETROIT – The travel constraints across the U.S.-Canada border will remain in place as a result of March 21, 2021, at least.

Canada declared previous week discretionary, or non-critical, journey concerning the U.S. and Canada will continue being in location an additional month. The limitations would have expired Sunday, Feb. 21.

The exact same principles will however apply: Necessary travel, such as specified staff and transportation of goods, is still authorized to cross the border involving the neighboring nations around the world. Nonessential travel is prohibited across the U.S.-Canada border.

Canada and the U.S. have limited border crossings given that March 2020, extending the restrictions each month.

On Dec. 1, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the ban on nonessential vacation with the United States will not be lifted until COVID-19 is substantially far more below management all over the earth.
