David Barnes, 50, arrived on the island of Kauai on Dec. 28 and was instructed to instantly quarantine for 10 times. Following securing reservations at a nearby resort, Barnes was permitted to leave the airport.
In its place of touring to his hotel, Barnes left by foot and was observed going for walks to a close by Costco. Law enforcement arrested Barnes for violating the state’s COVID-19 policies and released on $1,000 bail and requested to finish his quarantine.
On Jan. 5, Barnes was observed to be in violation of the quarantine once more and arrested on a few counts of violating Hawaii’s emergency policies. Barnes was also billed with a person depend of easy trespass and continues to be at the Kaua‘i Neighborhood Correction Middle.

In videos posted to social media, Barnes can be noticed going for walks all over the grounds of his lodge, complaining about the quarantine guidelines.
