Watch Reba McEntire’s ‘Somehow You Do’ Video

Reba McEntire walks a lonely, desolate route in the new video for “Somehow You Do,” her to start with release in just about two decades. The music seems in the new film 4 Good Days, starring Glenn Close and Mila Kunis.

“Somehow You Do” was penned by songwriting good Diane Warren, who also wrote McEntire’s singles “What If” and “I’ll Be” in the late Nineties and early 2000s. It brings McEntire again together with producer Tony Brown, who labored on many of the Region New music Corridor of Fame member’s imperial-phase recordings in the Nineties. A stately ballad in waltz time, “Somehow You Do” is about summoning resilience versus all odds. “When you consider that the mountain’s too substantial and the ocean’s much too wide and you will under no circumstances get by means of/Someway, in some way you do,” McEntire sings.

In the movie, directed by John Avnet, McEntire walks from dry, dusty land and will make a solitary journey to the ocean. A few clips from Four Excellent Days are interspersed, exhibiting the rigorous mom-daughter marriage central to its plot, but in the stop, McEntire is the lone determine on the shore, standing company and robust.

McEntire’s most modern album is 2019’s Much better Than the Fact. Four Fantastic Days, directed by Rodrigo Garcia, will be released April 30th.
