Dreaming of Spain

Paris, interrupted

A cross-nation road vacation

Greek island adventures

We had a trip planned to Greece for April 2020, including Athens, Rhodes, Corfu and Santorini, furthermore some side outings to Cyprus and Albania. I begun learning Greek through Duolingo in January 2020.  By April, I was struggling with it – hardly having the alphabet and primary words and phrases. I have stored it up and it’s gotten less difficult.  At the price I’m going, I’ll finish Duolingo Greek in a 12 months.

A several many years ago, I researched Portuguese on Duolingo in preparing for a trip to Brazil.  Other than hello there, remember to, thank you and good bye, I do not feel I basically spoke any Portuguese (but) it helped me go through signals and menus.

By 2022, I need to be all set for Greece!
