New hotel on Pensacola Seashore likely opening in 2023, will change Greatest Western

Builders functioning on a high-scale resort lodge that will change the Greatest Western on Pensacola Seaside will move ahead with a summer groundbreaking, but the problem of a $320,000 fee maybe owed to the Santa Rosa Island Authority is still on the backburner.

The 209-area hotel, which does not yet have a title and branding, is being created through Pensacola Beachside Resort LLC, a partnership in between Innisfree Accommodations and Dallas professional true estate firm RREAF Holdings.

The present 120-home Finest Western resort on the website will be demolished any day now, according to Innisfree Vice President of Enhancement and Asset Administration Rich Chism, and if construction on the new structure can start off this summer time, the lodge would open up in spring of 2023.

The lodge was considerably broken in Hurricane Sally in September and has been shut because then.

Chism and the Innisfree group introduced the conceptual patterns for the new hotel to the SRIA Wednesday evening, displaying renderings of an upscale out of doors location with a lazy river, a pool deck, a eating terrace, warm tubs, a fireplace pit, a splash pad and a tiki-model event hut.
