The Surety Resort, downtown Des Moines’ newest lodge, has been recognized by Vacation + Leisure as one of the greatest new accommodations.



The Travel + Leisure 2021 It Listing incorporates 73 of the most outstanding inns that opened in the past year. Just 30 U.S. resorts were being on the list, such as the Surety, which opened in November at 206 Sixth Ave. in downtown Des Moines.



The lodge is found in what at first was identified as the Hippee Making, of which design was concluded in 1913.



Chicago-primarily based Aparium Resort Group acquired the setting up in 2017 and remodeled it into a 137-space boutique hotel with cafe and bar.
