The Algemac Lodge the moment was on the spot exactly where the White Elephant stands

Stephen Karp, chairman and main executive officer of New England Development, first uncovered what would grow to be White Elephant Palm Seaside when he took his pet dog Fenway on walks in the newly restored Bradley Park.
Karp noticed that the creating was underutilized and when Ned Grace, co-founder and running spouse of NDT Growth, approached him, he knew it was a good time to carry the White Elephant to Palm Seaside.
“One of the factors that drew me to this task was the opportunity to do some thing distinctive. I was intrigued by the architecture and the chance to protect the building,” Karp said.
New England Progress retained the Boston firm Elkus Manfredi to rehabilitate the White Elephant Palm Seashore. Among the several standout assignments by Elkus Manfredi are The Stores and Restaurants at Hudson Yards in New York and The Peninsula Chicago hotel. Their layout held the Mediterranean Revival design but with a modern update ideal for the modern day traveler.
The new hotel opened in April 2020 and has 32 visitor rooms, which include 19 suites. The designers worked carefully with the Landmarks Preservation Commission and the Nationwide Park Services to protect the integrity of the framework when also reflecting the building’s record.
Devoted outside house is an integral component of the style and design, and the roof terrace presents breathtaking views to the Atlantic Ocean and Bradley Park.
